About the Event
Japanese underground legend Degurutieni returns to The Golden Lion.
Welcome to the wild wild weird world of DEGURUTIENI and his ONE MAN BAND from Osaka, Japan.
Spooky exotica burlesque toy junk muzak trash made with broken cassette desks and fucked up record players. Each performance is like a kaleidoscope – cycling through exotica, industrial, a sprinkle of cabaret, a side show act, with lyrics collected, spliced, recounted and retold like poetry.
What started as a solo project has metamorphised to include other band members and has spawned many collaborations with talented artists from Europe, USA, Thailand, Morocco, Russia and more…
