Gobsh!te spoken word open mic
We’re very pleased to announce our next Gobsh!te event, taking place next Wednesday at the Golden Lion.
Our guest reader for the evening is the brilliant poet Natalie Rees.
Natalie Rees lives in Calderdale, where she has a private practice in Play & Creative Arts Therapy. She holds an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Manchester and writes poetry and creative non-fiction. She has published in magazines and competitions such as Penfro, Flambard, Poets & Players, Interpreter’s House and Prole. Her debut pamphlet is published with Calder Valley Poetry, exploring themes such as identity, childhood, female desire and attachment patterns, frequently drawing on her own upbringing in a Pentecostal Christian family with Irish and German roots.
We’ll also be joined by returning guest musician Miss Airedale @miss_airedale, who is absolutely not to be missed. Miss Airedale writes darkly playful and deathly…
