Cologne based SUIR create a reverberated shoegaze and cinematic, atmospheric music defined by dense and complex sound walls. This rich, velvety sound constantly shifts between post punk, dark shoegaze, heavy cold wave, and psych, but due to their own sound creations, none of these genres can unambiguously be attributed.

Their live shows create a powerful and atmospheric feeling like waking up from a dark and intense dream. SUIR has toured from eastern to western Europe, performing as headliner or support act for artists like The Jesus and Mary Chain, Motorama, Lebanon Hanover, Esben and the Witch, The Underground Youth and The KVB, and appeared at major festivals that include Wave-Gotik-Treffen (WGT), NCN-Festival and Owls ́n ́ Bats Festival.
