About the Event
Mixmaster Morris has been a pioneering force on the ambient, chillout and avant garde electronic music scenes since 1982.
Recording as The Irresistible Force, Morris has released five acclaimed albums: Flying High, Global Chillage, It’s Tomorrow Already, Fish Dances and Kira Kira.
From 1995 to 1999 he was the only DJ with his own monthly article in Mixmag, where he championed underground music and chillout vibes, giving many leading electronic acts their first press coverage: Aphex Twin, Ken Ishii, Black Dog, Orbital, Atom Heart, Bedouin Ascent, T Power, Squarepusher, Dot Records and Jimpster.
In between DJing dates, he's still working on the perfect sounds for his next Ninja Tune release.
